Airsoft vs. paintball
Sports airsoft and paintball are quite similar, and that can be played exactly the same way. There are some key differences, such as the airsoft is most used in military and recreations of enforcement of paintball. In this sense, the game can vary, but the paintball guns people use representations, well (but not so often). If you look at the big picture, the games are not so different, but sometimes the strategy and tactics should be changed according to the specifications your gun and your opponent.
The guns used in airsoft and paintball are quite different. Paintball guns have a hopper that poured into paintball, while airsoft guns use clips. Therefore, the loading and unloading is often easier in airsoft, as is carrying around extra clips. In paintball, it is necessary to have a vest or a belt to put big bottles of paint balls. That's not to say that paintball airsoft has won in this category. Paintball guns normally can carry more ammunition for a airsoft gun, and yet can be recharged relatively quickly.
Ammunition, paint ball paintball, airsoft 6mm in BBS. This is an important thing to consider. In a forest, there are many tiny branches that can break paintballs, thus stopping it from reaching its target. You have to find a very open without any obstructions. Airsoft pellets are very small and the chance to hit is tiny tiny obstacles. Moreover, in many cases may be more accurate than paintballs, so you can not take much time for a final game, as it might with paintball. The speed, in FPS, of airsoft is also usually higher (between 300fps and 400fps). It can be as low as 120 fps, but that's not very efficient in a game of airsoft. Paint balls can also be ignored, but it does not happen often, but if you see coming toward you in advance, it is easy to pull off the road. Airsoft pellets are too small to see at high speed, and dodging is basically the question. Therefore, in general, in the case of ammunition, airsoft has the advantage.
The next item on the list is the maneuverability. Weapons Airsoft is definitely easier to maintain and run, while with paintball CO2 is large and bulky external and N2 (or compressed air) of containers. In addition, the hopper can sometimes go on the road. You get used to how paintball guns are made, but shooting an airsoft gun is, well, a little relief. Some people have fact advanced devices, where the CO2 is in the back, and a tube of the paintball gun coils around the tank on his back. Personally, I saw a man with two paintball guns, each with two tubes extending from the rear arms to CO2 tanks. It was pretty cool. In any case, it is clear that beats airsoft paintball in maneuverability.
Another important thing is maintenance. Paintball guns you do not need oil, clean, and of course fill CO2 (depending on how much you play, usually). If you has a gas airsoft gun, which also needed to be recharged, but electric and spring airsoft guns require no gas at all. Both types of firearms can break if not maintained properly. Paintball guns need the barrel regularly cleaned, although it is relatively simple. Most times, weapons paintball have more parts than airsoft guns, and they may be more costly to repair, but the crucial problems rarely occur in any type of weapon.
The airsoft thing is that people can cheat easily. In paintball, the ball explodes and the paint is visible in the person. Sure, you could clean the paint, but people rarely risk, because if caught, well, are the problem. However, someone can get hit in airsoft and just shake it. If there two very competitive game, and they keep getting hit, one or the other can not really prove that, unless they are close enough to see the ball hit the person. Airsoft is based on the honesty system, and sometimes that is not enough. 6mm paintballs are always an option, but you can break in the barrel and causing problems.
The superior product is really a matter of opinion, as there is no clear winners. Each weapon type has its own advantages and disadvantages. Usually, if you start with paintball, I'll take the paintball, and with airsoft.
