paintball question? Need opinion?

Ok, so I just started getting into paintball about 2 months and I bought a gun and the mask and tank. I took it for a test drive after the weekend and while paintball and I realized that many people had paintball pants and special equipment. So I asked them where they got them and how much. They argued that their looking for beginners about 150 things. So I did some research and I found this type is sold C4 age dye paintball pants, a sweater, proto, dye gloves, HARNES Spyder with 4 pods and elbow pads $ 75. Me found that each year that dye out with a new design and corresponds to year for this moment, the C8 is out. Is it a good business that this type is trying to sell even though the pants are 4 years old?
