Basic Tournament paintbal Equiptment?

My 2 friends and I are wanting to start a paintball team and enter a tournament. We all just got guns fire and wonder what all we have to enter a tournament. Do we really need T-shirts or you can simply use all the similar colored shirts and paintings, and know of a site or anything that you could get shirts for cheap, like $ 50sa pop like the other, the colors are Red and Black. I know that we will need masks, and most of the tournaments you have to buy their own paint boxes and how many balls are in a box. And how many boxes of paint are more likely is to go through in 1 Tourny, I could live with either? and then the pods and braces, do we really need? Me and my friend has a Tippmann 98 custom and my other friend has a Victor Spyder. Are there any updates that we should buy, not too expensive, like $ 70 a barrel, but as different bins or as a double trigger? THANKS a ton!

If I were you, I want to learn the game much more than what we know now. It sounds like your new and you'd be playing people who have been playing since that is like 8. Now for your questions: T-shirts are nice to have, but are not necessary in most tournys. Addition, they are $ 50 each. Think more in the range of $ 100-200. 2000 paintballs paint balls box. I get paint Blaze. Tourny paint is only as large as 45 $. It is made by and Draxxus. It depends on how much fire if a case is sufficient for you. Just get a case and you should be fine, if not the effort of pulling the trigger 24 / 7. The pods are nice to have, as these are useful throughout time. For a stock Tippmann 98 (base, not updated), then you should not need updates more than a new barrel. Try a Stiffe, CP (Custom Products), or a Freak barrel. All are about 40 $ ish. Mabye you can get a new hopper as a eVLution III. They charge about 23bps (balls per second) and only $ 50-60 it's very, very cheap. A double trigger is really only useful in electronic markers (guns), such as ions, etc … Hope this helps.
