The rules of a game of paintball can vary depending on the rules of the house where the paintball field. There are nuances to the rules governing the number of players, how you capture the flag, deadlines, and other game details.

However, there are universal safety standards that must be followed no matter what kind of paintball you are playing, and no matter what field you are playing.

Plug it up.

Guns come with a paintball barrel blocking device, or plug. Use it. The plug must be inserted into the barrel if not in the field.

Keep the paintball speed in check.
