How do I wire my PC cooling fan to run on a 9 volt battery?
I want my fan to run cable coputers Colling with a 9 volt battery, has 3 wires (red yellow black) out of it with a plastic thing in the end. I'm willing to cut the cables or anything I do so that it runs on a 9 volt battery. If you're curious, is a quick soulution a paintball mask. thanks for all the help and answers
I suppose you removed the fan from the computer and now are trying to achieve is the power of 9volt. Red and black is likely that the "hot" wires and yellow common. You will not blow up the fan positioning either black or red for yellow + and the – positions. Once you find out which one is hot, go to the hut the radio and buy a snap connector and solder the fan wires.
