New to paintball?

I'm thinking it startign a team 3-5 on the man paintball and I'm 15 and the thing is that my mom wants to try before buying gun and I have never played. now I kno I'm gunna love it, but only to please want to find a place where I can try and live in Connecticut so can anyone tell me where to go to try it with just me and like 2 or three friends that I do not hafta get a whole group of 10 people and pay tons of money I have. You can also please tell me wat a good start would be for me kit (gun, mask, equipment)
